Smartphones – an invention I don’t like

I hate my mum’s phone and I wish she never had one. That is a invention that I don’t like.

The drug companies will continue to lobby and fund the GOP.
The GOP will continue to defend the drug companies from ‘govt interference in their freedom to do business.’
The voters of this opioid addicted state will continue to vote GOP.

Yet another example of how easy it is to rile up people with slogans of guns, god, and freedom, to make them vote against their own clear good.

Smartphone, a.k.a. expensive handcuffs

I don’t want to get a $800 phone and then lose or drop it and feel horrible afterwards. I don’t even use my phone all that much and I have no apps or fancy stuff on it.

You get yourself a fancy phone and then you put the fancy stuff that goes into your fancy phone and bam, your life is not as simple as it was anymore.
